|sealice or mole crab is really a good bait.
it is also a natural bait for certain fish species.
we would use them when targeting southern pompano, cog grunter, stumpies etc.
flat fish also likes to take them.
normal grunter "spotted " also like it.
I do not put singles on, I like them double.
they live in the shore break.
so catching them can be difficult, but easily done at night.
my friend got a kingie of 20kg on a sealice.
my best was a stumpie of 6,5kg.
shad will also feed on them in the wash....they feed on everything.
so it is a good bait to have, the Durban buys even chow the sealice themselves.
also going to use them this weekend....hopefully something to show.
