Purglas exec 400/3

I have a Purglas executive 400/3 , customised for grinder use , that i would like to swop for either a 300/3 or 350/3

Bare in mind im from jeffreysbay and its an one piece

I am not 100% sure ,and I hope either Enigma or Frikkie van die Vrystaat kan bail me out here.

As far as I remember from the Purglas Durban days the mandrel's for the 400 length and the often preferred 375/350 lengths were exactly the same.My point being that a 350/ length was merely a 400 length rod which was shortened from the butt-side.(One-piece-rods)

The taper and wall-thickness on the first section of butt allowed for this to be done.I mention this purely because your rod-maker could very easily turn your 400/3 into a 350/3 by merely shortening from behind. You may have to change guide-spacing if you still want to use it as a Grinder -rod.However,the closer first guide to reelseat, will probably be of lesser consequence if using multiplier.

Hmmmm thanks oom. Sounds like a plan. Never gave that any thought
