The new pencils look and feel the part , tied with a lop knot they have an awesome action through out the water column and cast like a bullet .
Only got to test one for about half an hour , conditions were terrible , but iv got full confidence that this lure will be a favourite very soon ....
So gister besluit ek om my nuwe Z Stick en So Run kunsvissies vir n vinnige swem te vat.
hello everyone.
this lure is proving its worth in my area. the 11.5cm is my fav one. a tip on the 9cm is to change the hooks to lighter ones as the std hooks they come with are slightly heavy for it.
heres some catches so far.
17kg cob on the 11.5cm
the sinking pencil is a potent little lure. it does not flutter as much as the flutter stick from storm but throws like hell into the wind and its a great size for estuaries and deepsea game fish when they feeding on small baitfish.
ive done rather well on skipjack with my best hook up rate being 4 in 4 casts and all landed. the 5th one stole my lure
:X
theres a new one that has just landed. its the storm arashi surface walker. also comes in 11cm and 13cm as well. so far its been great but have not had a chance to fish it as much as i have the z-stick
Those are some beaut fish there mate .
That's an awesome angle and great photo of that skippy , what retrieve are you using when targeting the skippy , if you don't mind me asking ?
