Hi Guys,
I'm off to Ponta Malongane for a tester mid December and just want to check if there are any special boat requirements that may catch me unawares. Tried Google but cant seem to find too much info. Are their requirements the same as ours (I'm taking a Category B boat) I am aware that I have to get permits in Ponta D'Oura but any other info will be great thanks.

There are a few extras that you need if you're launching in Maputo and some of the more major areas, like a life ring, a galv. bucket ????? and an extra parachute flare (I think). I tried to find my list but failed.

Ponta shouldn't be a hassle though as long as you have the normal SA gear. Just have all your permits in place including fishing licence.
