I heard that the weight to beat was 4,3kg, this fish was caught on Thursday apparently, not sure if a bigger fish came out on Friday and with the howling cold wind on Saturday I would be really surprised if anyone caught a fish, think most of us on the water on Saturday BLANKED....:X

Found the fishing really tough this year, we managed to land a smallish tiger whilst trolling and lost a further two which didn't stick.........but we will be back next year again....

Winning fish was 4.8kg - caught by a lady.
20th place: 1.6kg
19th place: 1.8kg
18th & 17th 2.6 & 2.7 kg
16th - 1st place ranging between 3kg and 4.8kg.

I think the average weight for the Top 20 was + - 3.3kg

Well done to all those lucky enough to land tigerfish...big enough to qualify for the weigh-in. To the rest of us who either blanked or caught fish too small to weigh....well, at least there is next year to try again. Hopefully we will be blessed with an abundance of rain this year and the dam will be fuller for next year's comp.::tight:
