Put me onto these in Oct 2017 - all sight casting using 10ft rods - trolled around Dassen Island for first hour from about 6am and managed a snoek and 1 other yellowtail and then the birds started working so we chased after them and "hunted tail". We managed 14 fish that day - 12 of which were all caught spinning... Attachment: 2017-10-18 17.48.31.jpg (Downloaded 250 times)

Here is the link to Vic's latest profile with Dassen updates. https://www.facebook.com/dassen.angling?ref=br_rs September there should still be some tail around the island (conditions permitting) You may have to work for them tho.
