Howsit man, check on Gumtree and some of the groups on FB for the old Erics Tunnys. A little big but very stable and good to learn on. Some decent ones usually going for anywhere between 2 - 3.5k.

Hi NNB, just make sure you get a seaworthy one and if there is any doubt when you do get it -there are good guys in PE that can repair it. A lot depends on whether you want to fish offshore or estuaries? Also how tall you are et. You can check out my reference site fishingski101 if you want - see post at top of forum page. Contact us once you get sorted and want to go in the Bay? Regards Malgas

Hi NNB welcome

You will never regret...But with the wrong yak for your size it is torture...and if there is weight above 190 kg so much more ...

For your lenght I would suggest a Stealth BFS or a good Pinnacle Elite although they are selling for 6 to 10K.

Eric's Tunny as sugested is a very good option to start with but for me it was a "Tank"( I am only 1.68) but would be able to do a hand stand on it on the water..
Very stable

Before you buy..try to go on test runs and then make a decision..!

You will end up with a Pro Fisha

;)

If you are going for a second hand ski then the likelihood is that you will get a BFS (or many other brands of skis) but they will be on the heavy side -but great skis to start with, I had a BFS for years. If you have more budget then Stealth has replaced the BFS with a far lighter and more manouverable Surfisha 470, but I would rather go for a Fisha 500 -very stable, lots of space and quicker. Nose dives a bit coming in in big surf - but hey this is a wet sport and a little swim never harmed anyone!:)

Hi Rog,

You still going to sell that Eric's Tunny?

I'm keen.
