Congrat bra !!! Me 11yrs +, however SL is a little dead, of course FB / WAPP ect took over, however, you can still go on the old files and get solid info... Also UA, dead dead, maybe 4 posts a day... Miss the old days. I use to enjoy the DIY stuff.

Sealine isn't dead, just different.

Yes I might not have been there in the "glory days", but I prefer Sealine to FB groups any day. Too much repetition, same topics being argued about constantly on FB. Attention seekers. Sealine has most important info contained in old posts. Some days it's quiet, some days it's alive, but it keeps going and I'm back every morning to see whats up.

A little dead...it is indeed, like I said, good to "re cap" on old posts. I will check daily, however sometimes, new members should search for answers first..

Sealine was moved over to new servers...in order for all of us to keep browsing old posts, making themn still available.

not too worry gents.... some need to work, so browsing is at a minumum..
also the old kuk makers are gone, yes trhey did chirp all day long...... but how many fights were there? too many.
even our chiefs "moderators hardly needs to get involved nowadays.
this indicates all is going well albeit a little quiet at times.

SEALINE is not DEAD!!!! and it will outlast the other just like it has done!!!

cheer up guys.....fishing season is about to start

who needed them In any case?

only the poor old pen pushers....and some old farts who could not get down for a fishing trip to ease off all the house tensions.....

those were the ones which fought over dry bones and dead horses.
as far as I know.....they were quite good at being keyboard warriors..... but at catching fish they really struggled....lol

what a laugh it was.

remember 1 thing.
internet knowledge is 1 thing.

putting it to practice in real life water situations is a totally different hose to mount.

on a boat it is much more worst!!!

on the beach you can walk over to the guys catching fish, you can steal with your eyes.
you can make new friends and have great conversations.

on a boat you are all alone, none of the above can assist you as there is no road to the boat next to you, you cannot get off, and walk over and start a chat.

so, Sealine has the most information combined of fishing aspects, be it fresh water or salt water.

the world of fishing is at your finger tips, sealine is just waiting for you to do the search function......try it.
you will see.....

and also remember only dumb people do not ask questions!!!!

Completely agree.
Although I feel what I have personally gained from the site far outweighs the fights. The amount I have learnt and continue to learn is immeasurable. All those lessons I now teach to my boys. But the innocent banter did build some good camaraderie, I remember all he'll would break loose at the slightest mention of shimano vs daiwa😂

Dirty Harry...Well done!!

I am half your age and enjoyed every moment on Sealine

Yes, Sealine was the place to get to know each other and appreciate others views and expertise.

I have learned a lot from this site...

Newcomers was welcomed and catches was posted with pride

Now the only place you see something is on the stealth Facebook site with photoshopped catches...

Thank you for the "Kannie dood" members...Serra Moz en Willem wikkel spies who constantly gave good advice and remarks..

Sealine will never die...Malboer will be at Mili next week and I might join over a weekend, depending on wind guru...First or second weekend..

Cabin Fever is running high in our house holds...

Our Ski Vee is in the resurrection stage and need to be COF'ed. The motor (40 Yammaha) is done and running smooth..

The new stealth 475 is gathering dust but will be on the big blue soon...::slr::

The Ski Vee...Body..Still lot of work

The motor at Rudemans and will fit when going for COF

40 Yamaha maybe bit heavy but no weight difference between 40 and 35...

25 hp found to be little slow and not so nippy..

Your ideas will be highly appreciated ...

Looking great, you only gonna put one outboard? I have the same Ski Vee more / less had to 2 x 25s Yama (manual) - changed to 2 x 30s Yama (3 cyl - Elect)

What is the weight of your outboards?
