Morning folks.

Same changes to the recreational bag limits, sizes, etc are on the cards for the near future. The timeline is around 2 months from now maximum. Thereafter interested parties will be afforded an opportunity to comment on the proposed amendments.

If anyone comes across the proposed changes, please post a link or the document here so that it can be made public and the PPP is as transparent as possible.

Fair enough - what's the proposed changes ?

That's what we would all like to know. Change is also not always bad but I'm not prepared to speculate on hearsay so let's see when the proposals come out.
I think it's important for recreational anglers to have their say and being that most anglers are not Gazette watchers, hopefully vigilance pays off and the proposed changes become more public as soon as they are published and better transparency is seen to be done than in the past.
