How do you store your kayak?

Hi

I'm about to purchase my first fishing kayak, but something not many discuss is storage of the kayak for those that don't have a garage large enough or at all. I have this problem and so far the best option I've been able to come up with is building a kayak shed on the side of my house, there doesnt seem to be many options for self storage for less than r1500 PM and that's for a 6mx3mx3m storage far larger than I require. I'd happily pay for a locker or something like that a reasonable price.

I dont want to leave it outside (even with a cover or is that alright? Not from what I've read).

I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem so a little help would be great!

Thanks

Haven't pulled the trigger just yet but the fisha 500 is on top of my list, but I'm also looking at plastics as I'll be using it a fair amount for fresh water. Basically the 3 I'm looking at is fisha 500, bamba or dorado 2 maybe. The bamba for versatility, stability and to survive a newbies bashing not to mention cheaper, the fisha because it's more suited to ocean and almost everyone recommends it, the dorado just cause it looks so badass. My choices are somewhat limited to finding something that fits me

Choices choices choices

Mine lives outside. I store it upside down with the hatches open in the shade. Had a pvc cover made to fit nicely, but half the time I leave it uncovered ....and nothing happened in 10 years to it. Key is to store it upside down with the hatches open so no rain water accumulate and it ventilates.
