Archipelago 10th spin

Looking for tip section.
Don't know what happened--never been used-took the rod out of the bag and noticed that tip section is cracked.

The guide or the blank?

Any shop selling Okuma rods can get the tip for you

cracked and about a foot from the tip guide broken.

That sounds like something crushed it in transport or storage

When I received the rod from Cape Town I did not open the bag to look at it--I did not mention it because if anybody would have told me that,i wouldn't believe it!!
I mean,a new rod and you don't open to look at it!!
But that is what happened.
I just stuck it in a cubbard and forgot about it--untill Friday--open it--broken.
