Ja but they have a historical or traditional right to rape the sea and indiscriminately stuff things up for everyone else involved in the "ocean economy" and take entire breeding shoals, or entire year classes of recruiment stocks..so that makes it right.

There used to be cracker stocks in false bay. Until entire breeding shoals of 30lb plus fish (hundreds) got netted, long long time ago and anyone caught one for the decades since..? The large 20lb elf comprising the breeding mass for the entire countries stock used to end up in langebaan, millions of large fish like they do off the states east coast..netted out for fish oil export to UK..have the elf numbers ever returned to anywhere near the old records since?

A traditional right to F things up for everyone, for nature, for the future generations, just is not right.

Totaly agree...that's why i get pee'd off at the regulation to mandate fisherman to 4 elf and trekkers trek them unsupervised along the FB coast....
