Different braids for different applications... Jerry Brown for heavy popping. Saltiga boat braid for jigging. Gosen for shore based spinning. Fireline for my baitcasters (ok... so not a grinder... but still) Tasline for heavy spinning and plugging. Edit: Also PP super slick 8... Lovely stuff. All of them great for the particular application. Last edited on Thu Feb 13th, 2020 07:34 am by Limpopoking |

I use 20lb BOSS finesse braid on for all my freshwater spinning reels, it's diameter is only 0.16mm meaning I get more distance when casting and more line on the spool and double the breaking strength than with 10lb mono... Only downside is the knots slip easier but if you tie 1 or 2 half hitches around your line with the excess line after you've tied your knot you'll be fine ![]() |

Love Suffix 832 for R&S, but also use Boss, Grinder and can't fault it. |

Like it was mentioned above, I also use different braids for different applications. Heavy shark tackle(grinder included) - HMP Heavy (40-50lb) edible tackle - Black Velvet Medium (30-40lb) edible tackle - Gosen Light tackle/spinning (20Lb) - HMP |

I’ve used most braids, and I’m currently stuck on HMP ultra thin. I also enjoy the 832 when scratching, and Pro 8 for dropshot. |

Have been using HMP now for the last 4 years and very happy with it. Got it on all my reels, gosa 8k, 10k, 25, slammer 3 and twin power 14k. It is local and well priced and have pulled plenty off edibles and non edibles with it |
