Launch sites Vaaldam / Vaal River

Hi

Does anyone know of any decent launch sites in the Vaal or Vaal river. I cant seem to find any launch sites that is safe and open for non-members.

On the Vaalriver is Stonehaven And on the dam just in deneysville is Rus n Bietjie That is the 2 spots I know of.

I know you can launch at riverside sun for R500 per launch.
A bit expensive for launch fees.

There is a few places at the Vaaldam that you can launch and they are relatively cheap!

At Deneysville you can launch at Manten Marina...very nice safe place and not expensive. Also at Bayshore Marina in the Vaal Marina area. Google both places!

At the Vaal river launch at Abramhamsrust. This is on the FS side on the way to Sasol from Vanderbijl. Very nice slipway...easy launch and less expensive than Riverside Sun. In Vereeniging you can launch at Sam Gross...not to safe but cheap.
