Had some serious sideways action action myself last night!!! Me and a buddy did some "drifting" in a 3.3l nissan breakdown on a wet N2! No accidents , so we thought we can keep ourselves occupied at 2am. After about halfhour we even had the N2 Traffic Cops joining us in the Bakkie! Some nice bends and corners to take in Somerset West and Strand areas. We were going sideways on one bend when we saw Traffic Cop 100m away. Crapped ourselves and was pulled over. He asked if we can take him for a spin. My buddy got out and Traffic climbed in strapped on seatbelt and did not stop giggling for about 5 minutes!! Please note that the roads were very wet and after 1am there were no cars on the N2 at all. about 5 cars per hour. We do not do this often, but anything to make up some time till 6am , when I hand over to new driver. I do this as some extra income over weekends. Like the saying goes; "no car performs like a company car"
