Boat Fishing at Hartebeespoort dam

Hi all

I want to go and try out Hartebeespoort Dam some time from the boat any body been fishing their, what is the best and safest palce to launch your boat and maybe contact info, spoke to somebody today he said Aqua club or Meerhof oewer,
So any info will be nice.

Fishing at Harties is great. My personal experience is that Ifafi Aqua club is the best place to launch from. They have staff with a tractor that will help you launch as well. From their best fishing spots form the boat will be Swartspruit, Meerhof, Modderpunt and Magalies. Over the years with the LTB league these spots gave the most fish.

Agree with fishing spots but personally launch at Oewer Club Schoemansville
Another good spot is on right side before you go under the bridge at Magallies. I also like to fish by the yachts on ancor in bay at Schoemansville. Get some very nice Carp there and not much boat traffic. Its a no wake zone area
