Stand by light house and cast in direction of Gordons bay, If you stand near Restaurant you will need to cast at least 150m or more - But good red roman if you can cast that far.

Club angling is for Pro Sporting No Messing ABout, Not Easy - False Bay Angling IS A Good Club, but there are plenty out there. 2nd Is this guy from PTA or around the cnr? u will find he most likly lives around there, he studies weather patern, wind and water condition. The more you fish there the more you will get to know about the area, You will also see a japanees dude that fishes for chokka in chokka season, He always catches alot, WHY > He is a local Im heading out the either later today or over the weekend > will post some news when I get back

For what its worth my Tackle bag which weights about 25 - 30kgs got swooped up and blown into the ocean, tackle and all, so tip put bag on lowest level and where there is hardly any wind, the bay can take u by surprise P.S this happended on a cloudy day, hardly a drip of rain Happy Hunting!

Or even like this...there were fishermen on the wall fishing when this was taken..dont a clever thing to be doing... it is true what is said..if you think that it is to much swell, don't try fishing from the wall...rather do it on a flat day...I been there done that, and swam the harbour...and it is not good...no fish is worth the tackle or your life... Watch out for Kalk Bay wall. It is safer to fish from the green light house (starboard side). Best time for kob at night after a strong SE wind. As the other bellies (boeps, I mean ballies) said. SAFETY FIRST. Attachment: 100_0219_1.jpg (Downloaded 302 times)
