Would you use a online tackle store? If it was reasonable priced and had good interface as well as being very fast and easy to use?

When it comes to buying fishing tackle, I prefer to see and touch what I am interested in. I still enjoy photographs on the internet or in a catalogue, as a visual aid in seeing what's out there, so the advertising works, but I prefer going to a tackle shop and looking around and engaging in banter with the shop assistants and other fishermen in the store. My vote is NO, but purely for the reasons mentioned above.

Same here. I want to feel the rod and reel and look for any small dings or duds. When I buy a rod, I sit there for ages inspecting it for anything unusual, and scratches, anything of everything basically. Obviously I irritate the shop assistant doing that, but you will not make me buy anything before Ive checked it and Im happy with it. Ive been chased out once before because of that, and will never shop at that shop again

So no, I dont like the idea of shopping online

Very strange

Mike!!

because when you needed the very same shop's help whilst sitting in the shop you got no help but it was the online tackle shop that helped you within what - a week???

Think before you post!!!

Yes i am defending myself and other online tackle shops,

Big Gray!

Its a pity you havent dealt with me already, you will change your mind, its all about customer service!!I too like to touch and feel the stuff but are you only buying stuff that is absolutely new in the market and doesnt feel like anything else out there or is it more convenient shopping, less time in the shop and more time fishing???

Hell i even fish with my customers, i take them fishing at no extra cost!!!

But at the end of the day its your choice!!!

Stephan aka walkerkiller???

why two usernames on Sealine or did i miss something??

Please note you gonna need a small outlet to have an online tackle shop, before you go asking guys for their vote you need to go to the company you work for and ask them if this is something  that they really wanna do because you gonna get replies and many hopes up but in the end your company refuses to go with it.

It might seem interesting but if you not funding it then you better ask your boss first before doing your market research, it takes many years to get this right and at your young age i am sure that it will workout someday, it doesnt happen overnight!!

Howzit khan, walkerskiller and I are not the same person, just friends.
This was not directed at any particular online tackle shop, just opinions. The poll was  market research to see the demographic of people that would be interested as well as seeing if and why people would not shop online for whatever reason.

Khan, before I joined sealine I read alot of stuff on it, and learnt alot too, and I knew before I joined that you gave good service. I saw how all the guys rated you highly BEFORE I joined, and thats why I trusted you when I asked for that frame. I was extremely grateful when you helped me out. I could've gone to another shop and gotten the part, but since I had never shopped online, and saw how good your service was, I decided to support you

But, I dont think I have to explain myself again as to why I dont like the idea of shopping online. So dont assume things about me, dont post before you know the facts, and dont tell me what I must and must not say. You have been on my case lately, and Im sick of it, and Im simply defending myself now. I gave my opinion, and remember that no-one is the same, so I have full right to state what I thought about the online tackle shop idea, and I did. If you dont like my opinion, then sorry accept it

I appologise for the rant

Well you can go feel the tackle shop's goods and pay 30 - 50 % more.

I know what tackle i want, and i know where to order it from. You don't have to see someone's face to experience good service.

Thanx again Khan.

Khan, what are you talking about? I am WalkersKiller and WalkersKiller only I do not have another username and Stephan is not me. I will not try and gather info on something I have done market research about. I already spoke 2 reefman last week about advertising my store so why would I jeopardize that in any way?

I dont need to know what will work and what wont. Ive already got a place to operate out of, ive got stock and I am the sole operator of my online tackle shop.

I dont want to be rude but please think before you post, i love sealine and i dont want to get banned because people just assume im posting under to accounts, i cant believe you would accuse me of posting under to accounts! Have you seen the photos of me and Stephan on sealine in the same photos? Didnt think so bud, so please dont do that...

I even asked your for help... Really why, if so many top members on sealine knew about it would i go and post under another username, wtf, we are 2 different people, yeah i dont know what to say anymore.
