 Hi Guys,

What a day!!!

Thursday night I worked until 02h00am got up at 04h00am got ready and hit the beach at 05h30. Got to strandfontein and there was was strong pull in the water (Bad!)...anyway i just kept on fishing....

Waited for Henning, Angus & Nikolay to arrive at Macassar...(as I was all alone :( )

(16h00pm) As the day went by... Jean went vas with a bronzie...while Jean was fighting his fish..Henning went VAS!!!...helped Hennie to pull Jean's fish out and soon realized I WAS UNFIT!!!

Next..I was ready to gaff Hennings fish (I WAS VERY NERVIOUS, I NEVER GAFF A FISH BEFORE, AND THIS WAS HENNING'S FISH...) hehe...anyway.....as we saw the opportunity i just gaffed.....VAS!!! YEAH! grapped jean's arm and just pulled!

AGAIN REALIZED I WAS UNFIT!!!

Well done to Jean and Henning with there beautiful fish (i think hennings was 221cm and jean 182+cm...)

later...

while i was talking to my wife (and geuss what,we prayed together for my first fish...as it was a looooooong day for me)..while we were talking i just heard..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... looked...my saw my rod horizontal..spike bent....10seconds...boom into the braid....this fishing was hauling line...

anyways to make a loooong storie short...ended up with my first bronzie...

186cm PCL female = 89.7 kg

THANKS ANGUS & NIKOLAY you guys are legends !!!!

(sorry for the long report guys just very happy for my first bronzie...)
