If I may be so forward to thank Admin on behalf of all past ,present, and future Kite-fishermen,then let me take this opportunity now.

A big ups to admin for this initiative,It will go a long way to help retain interest, and hopefully, generate some in this facet of angling ,that have all but dwindled to something done by a few die-hards.(see luny's) It is however an integral part of our South-African angling heritage, and many a Sealiner has mentioned that as a child he either had a father,or an uncle whom he can remember using a kite as an angling tool.

With times changing and the pace at which we do everything nowadays,it has been resolved as something cumbersome, and painstaking, which it may be,but maybe it is just what we need every now and again.Sitting back and relaxing next to the water watching your marker in anticipation, has never done much harm to anybody's physical or mental health.

May the wind blow into this forum's back ,just enough to make it soar to its rightfull place  ,up there.

Thanks again.
