Kite fishing

I went kite fishing for the first time yesterday with defenition and after a few tries we seemed to get the hang of it! i find this a very cool way of fishing and quite easy once you get the hang of it! SHOT Stu. maby next time we will actualy catch some thing...

Well chaps.. all I know is SOON I will join the fold and hopefully a St Francis trip with Enigma and Def will give me a great initiation..

I used to fish for Zadoba kite angling club. There was Sha Cuda, Zingela and a few more clubs. We did all our fishing when we were still allowed to drive on the beach and it was safe to do so. Now you go fishing you take your Uzi in a plastic bag, use the bugger for bait using a BIIIIIGGGGGG kite to get the body out.

I still have all my kit and have not done it for a while. Maybe some day again with a crowd of guys at a safe spot.

Longing for a nice big shark again with some fight in him.

Might sell one of my rigs to buy another hunting rifle. At least that is a safe sport cause there you shoot back!:SSS

Thunder.. You let me know if you want to part with any of your gear..

Trying to source a rod for the purpose but not sure if regular rod or "standup" rig would be the better option..

Any words of wisdom here guys?

It will be great to have somebody down in PE that is tempting the kite fishing areana.

Could be fun seeing how its done and how it works.
