KNOTLESS KNOT

This knot is not only used by carp fishermen, any bait can be rigged to the hair and the hair loop can be replaced with a hook which is used to hold a bait in place with the top hook open and ready to do it's work

Step 1: Tie your loop in your braid/mono to which you will attach your bait or insert a hair stop to secure your bait.

Tip: To get the distance right between hair and hook, attach your bait and then position it and tie the knot

Thread your hook snoot through the eye of the hook (from the back)

Once the hair is positioned then you can begin with the wraps, the wrap should start to the bend in the guide (eye) and not the gap.

Whip the hook snoot 6-8 turns down the shank, tight against one another

Wind it back up the shank twice and put the tag end through the guide from the back

Pull the line tight. The hook is now in a clinch, the harder you pull the tighter it is held, although there is no knot
