We are going to Richards Bay in June for deep sea fishing any tips and maybe a spot or two.

How is the fishing that time of year?

Regards

Hi Mike,
There are several postings on Sealine that gives you a lot of way points for Richards Bay.
I June there is some cob, Garrick and a lot of shad in the harbour itself. If you want to go deep sea I would suggest Kasteel, small High point and High point as areas to go.Good bottom fishing there as well, water is about 50m deep. Early in the morning I usually go Natal snoek fishing at Groenkop just behind the backline in about 15 to 20m water.
Strip baits and small rapalas work well. I also had good success with daisy chain feathers in Blue and purple.
Hope this will help.
