Launching Vaal River

Hi guys

Im looking for a place to launch my boat on Vaal River took a drive yesterday but only found 2 places those being the one next to emerald (emfuleni) and the other being Abrahams rus couldnt find any towards barrage so if you know of a launch place that is safe to leave your car etc id greatly appreciate some info

We use to launch for many years at Abrahams rus but don't know how safe your vehicle will be there in to days times.

Would rather use Emmerals. Long way to travel to barrage.

Don't know of any public places further down the Vaal .

mouse ek het jou gese jy moet by my klub aansluit ons launch is af onder toe deur die brug met hekke wat sluit en alles jy kry jou eie sleutel ook

I launch at River Square in Vereeniging, a long way from the Barrage, but there is good fishing that end of the river, you have to pay to get in and there is a chap that watches the cars, never had a problem there at all
