I seriously don't know what to do anymore. This cat comes onto the patio and craps on the tables. I climbs onto the cars and scratches them, nevermind all the pawprints all over my windscreen in the mornings. and now I catch it sitting in my bird feeder having a late lunch.

Anyone got any ideas?

Who's cat is it?If it's yours, you can put a bell on cat's collar to warn birds when cat is stalking birds.

To stop  scratching car you can get cat's nails trimmed down.

But If it's neighbours cat, that's another story

Little Tim was in the garden filling in a hole when his neighbor peered over the fence.

Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was up to, he politely asked, "What are you up to there, Tim?"

"My goldfish died," replied Tim tearfully, without looking up, "and I've just buried him."

The neighbor was concerned, "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"

Tim patted down the last heap of earth then replied, "That's because he's inside your stupid cat."

If you can locate the cat's owner then ask him if possible to keep the cat contained indoors for a couple of days. After a few days the cat's memory clears and he doesn't remember the neighbourhood. That's what you do when you relocate with an adult cat.

You also get sprays you can spray around some areas that will repell cats. There is no way you can stop a cat from visiting the neighbours, it's in their nature to explore.

I've cought two of our neigbour's cats in our house already. No, didn't kill or hurt them. Yes I wore the long thick welding gloves. Neither comes here any more. If they see me in the street, they RUN !

Glad sanity prevailed and you didn't shoot the cant...You could have gotten into SERIOUS trouble for doing it.

You could read up about cat traps on the internet, and then, trap the little bugger. Once done, you can either locate the owner or inform the SPCA??

If it is feral, be very careful, feral cat's are very dangerous, not least because they are aggressive but also because they can carry disease.

Trap it and relocate it very far away.
Sound of a stun gun also scares the hell out of them.

Take it to SPCA, happened to our cat a few years ago, neighbour didnt know whose it was so took it in, spoke to my dad a while later and told him he'd had a random cat and took it in that Morning, they'll keep it at home more after fetcing it from the SPCA a few times.

I don't know who's it is, but its not feral. thought it was our neighbor's, but it wasn't (talked to them tonight). I was thinking paint ball gun with a pepper ball, which I believe is not too harsh.

Now to get a paint ball gun

Change the cat's atitude. Give it some pellets and a bit of milk and see if the two of you won't get a bit closer.

We have four cats, and when the neigbour's cats visit I treat them very friendly. For the most part they don't trust me and stay away.
