Hi Ignasuis good to hear from you

lets hope so...,but I think there might be bonnies a little more off shore and who knows what else. Johan and I will test the "new" boat on Saturday. Will give feedback on what we find.

Cant wait, but make sure when you return to go past the point of the sandbank.

Good luck in breaking ground, there might even be a tuna around.

Went out Sunday 30 km west south west from Walvis Bay. Trawled for about 20 km with only one strike (bonnie?)Then decided to to start drifting and chumming sardines for bonnies. Within 10 minutes we hooked into the first MAKO (male)...it jumped all over the place...by the time I had the camera out the jumping stopped... we caught 8 more. 7 females.
On the way back we caught one Bonnie trawling

Water Temp: 20.7'C
Water Depth 107 meter

First time I heard about a Mako at our coast. Well done Renier, It is proof, together with the Bonny, that our Ski-Boat anglers are satisfied with small fish and never put in effort to really try something else.

Keep up with your exploring.
