Hi Guys

Sitting here in a bit of pain right now.

Two weeks ago while making up slide traces I got a strand of wire in my thumb , I looked for it but couldnt find so I forgot about it.

This weekend the finger started giving trouble and I had to cancel all my fishing plans. So got back yesterday and went to the doc today.

He had to cut my thumb open and took out 7 pieces of S/S wire. Some of them had been lying there for a while without a prob and the last one was the one that got infected.

3 Stiches to close my thumb up again.Sitting here with a bit of pain right now as the local anasthetic is wearing off.

Carbon coated leader for me in the future.......

Eina, Shame man!... Are you on Antibiotics? You got some decent painkillers? I can script you some if you need, (along with your Prozac, that is :spite Lol).

Feel better soon.

I got a stainless dropshot hook in my left hand, right by the index finger knuckle, Humansdorp hospital, local anestetic (imported not available), a entry and later a exit hole ... all better now.

OWN STUPIDITY in my case, and ofcourse all my hooks are super sharp !
