Hi CT and surrounding guys. I have been reading with intersets and just seen the pics of the"Port Durnford KZN SOCIAL" I thinks we need to get one going around here, maybe Pearly beach Die Dam etc. Do we need to get Simen involved or do we do it our selves under the SEALINE banner. Just a little envy of the great time and camp over they had. Lets do this.

hey boet a social sounds like a good idea, if we book into a campsite we can have a demarkated area so we all together, last time pearly beaches campsite looked alright although i haven't been there for a while.

Hi Guys

How about one at kleinmond also, never fished there but for someone like me its closer to home, petrol is heavy guys, lets also blame the petrol price on the turn out at Macassar.
Im new at the fishing arena so up for anything.

As a matter of interest ! I organise socials for another site at Pearly Beach and am busy doing another one in the near future. Good accomodation is available for 30 guys at the LOKO in P/Beach for around R50 per person per night ! Contact Yolanda @ 0845810130, P/Beach club has their monthly comp that weekend and will also be fishing against another club that weekend (18 May) So I reckon that it will be pretty crowded ! ...Just my thoughts ! Hope this helps you in making a decission ! Pearly beach is an Awesome place to fish under the right circumstances ! We were 82 guys there on our last social ! You can also contact the club to organise a braai for you and have your prizegiving there and make good use of the Brandy specials at their bar !

Hendrik Groenewald  aka Vrottes

Fantastic initiative Buckles... I'm right behind you on this one... Simen, I'm sure will help drive it thru'.

If I can offer a word of advice... get the costs ASAP, and then in order for someone to put their name on the list, they must hoes! Guys need to put their money where their mouth is... last social was a disastrous turnout.

Meeting for an arvie social is nothing like staying over for a couple of days... getting up at sparrows and commandeering the beach in blue shirts... with headaches, hangovers and worse...

And may I suggest taking Vrottes up on his experience... he's done this several times and knows the ins and outs... him, Mantis, Noweeds and Klipvis are old hands at Pearly Beach socials... give him a call...
