Hi guys after looking at the conditions predicted for Sat I'm going to change the Venue from Something good to Recief small surf. There is another big westerly predicted for the week end and if we fish Sundays the chances are we will spend more time drinking than fishing. Please pass on the message to all the anglers you know that will be fishing.

I will be putting up a new Okuma Cedros for a Cracker over 12kgs for the day. We are fishing against Border on the 5 November at Kasouga and will have a Sony flat screen TV up for grabs plus some other fantastic prizes. There should be around 40k in prizes to win as we will be combining the two competitions prize funds. You can start booking your accomadation at http://www.kasouga.co.za there are loads of holiday houses to rent but start booking early as Border are bringing a shoal of anglers down. Maybe even a few of the WP boys can join us. I have updated some photo's of the Border comp this past week end on the site and the full results will be up later tonight.

The other option is to leave Sundays in the mix and fish both venues for those who would still like to fish the surf. It would then only be Sundays entrants only including the beach front starting from Something Good to Small surf let me know if we should keep Sundays open as a choice.

By suggesting the additional area, you are opening a new can of worms.
I suggest we keep it in one area (either area) to allow an even opportunity for all.
We ,(me and some other dudes,) will fish in what ever weather is on that day. (so will all the other people)
My R2.50 (inflation) :uzi:blah:fbash

If it comes down to one area it will be Something good to Small surf. Not having rocks and places to hide in strong wind conditions will limit the number of fish caught and Sundays in a big west can be very limiting. I don't mind making the area smaller but its like any competition make your plans and live with them no different from deciding to fish something good or flat rocks only 2km apart but very different fishing.

Dean, so far the weather shows low winds in the morning and picking up later the afternoon. I would still fish sundays, divide the men from the mouse?:fbash

It's your call in the end. Open from BP to small surf?

Hi Guys looks like we might have good conditions with an Easterly predicted to blow after this strong west coming through so Sundays should produce some nice Kob and Sat I will have someone at the Sundays gate for anglers wanting to register on Sat morning to fish Sundays or you can pick up your cards to go at Trophy's The gate will be open from 5:00am and fishing starts at 6:30 to 2:30 weigh in and prize giving will be at the Humepark club from 4:30 bring meat for the braai afterwards. R2500 for the biggest Leerie Jared said someone caught one at recief on coral worm last week so make sure you get some worms. My bet would be a nice fresh mullet though. Anyone wanting to brand there vehicle with the new logo let me know.

Hi Ziyaad the controvision is clear to look through from the inside so you can put it on the back windscreen of a car and still see through it. But we can have them made to size for any window size
