Hey every one i am contemplating on selling this rod since that i have my blade now and am looking for R1300 excluding postage .Do you guys rekon that this is a good deal or should i increase the price a little bit.Just have a look at the pics the eyes are perfect and the rod has never been dropped, used her about 10 times and caught 1 small grey on her.She has 1 or 2 scratches on her but other than that she's a beut.

It comes with a heavy tip (7-8oz) and a lite tip for scratching (3-4oz).It is a good all round rod. I'm not selling this rod now but if someone gives me a good price then it will have to go ASAP.

OKAY I'LL SELL IT FOR R1000 PRICE NEGOTIABLE !!!

Guys the pic was taken in our storage room .Our house is way cleaner than that. Ja and I've decided that I'm not gonna sell the rod as it's a good all rounder and it can be used to throw a spoon with the 3-4oz lite tip and a 8oz wire grapnel with the 7-8oz heavy tip .My blade is for those meneer's in the transkei .I'm going to the transkei on the 20th-23rd so i hope the weather stays good then i can hopefully get a big boy there.

It's actually a good thing that she didn't allow me to sell it as I'm gonna take 10cm off the tip and turn it's into a 10oz tip rod.

Dave WHY???

the most important thing in any tackle setup is balance...
Under correction but is your Blade not a 10oz rod?? if so what do you want to do with 2? I'll rather keep the rod as is

I keep on changing my mind bud. I felt like doing that the other day now I don't want to take anything off the tip.I do need to however to get a 10oz sinker mold for my Blade as that thing is heavy and requires a heavy sinker to load the rod up easily when on rocky points when your balance is not so great. On the beach I would throw a 9oz. My Blue Marlin throws a 8oz sinker very well. as it's a 8oz rated rod.

Dave, if you don't have balance on the bricks you are asking for trouble and casting a heavier sinker will only make you problem worse.

Just my 2c.
