Hi Guys, I have set myself up with two new drop shot rods a TFO 8'6 with 17 pound fire line and 7ft Berkley rod, which I recon is a good start, I would like to do some offshore drop shot is there anyone that you guys recomend in the Durban area. Peter

Hi there Peter, I would give Allen O'Connor a call from Durban on 0314641919 after hours and cell 0834630713. Given the recent rush into dropshotting I am not aware of any commercial charters catering for the style. However Allen has many years experience in guiding saltwater fly fisherman and his passion at the moment is dropshotting. He has a CobraCat at his disposal and has quite an extensive species list for dropshotting from a boat. Regards RGT
