there is a new rod polish from assassin to clean or cover those dry spots on your blank ..try it out

always had a problem that the rod would look sort of ugly after a while , this stuff makes it look like all new again

Dont think there there would be a problem if its not varnished..send email to assassin ask for kathy..she can tell you.
