Its a waste of time to contact them about shark tags. Trust me I tried. I didnt have anything to lie about when I spoke to the lady there and told her I mainly fish for shark and ray species may I purchase a tagging kit from them and her blunt response was sorry we have to many shark anglers only want edible fish anglers so they can souce them edible fish kits. Well at least I tried.

Shorty that makes perfectly sense. There in nothing to it to catch a shark these days.

ORI requested me to formulate motivational letter, did that yesterday, received application today, completed and returned. So, Ja lets wait and see.... hoping for the best.

I just send my application in today as well. Stuart never showed any sign of negativety about shark tagging but I have waited since mid December to get a reply.

I agree, Stuart replied promptly! After I got the correct details (thanks to B/Jordaan) my case was dealt with without delay. I did mention tagging  of A - Z including sharks in my motivation. He did not mention anything negative about the tagging of sharks.

Hopefully we are all sorted soon.
