Approved by Emperor Hi Admin/Sealine, I was just wondering with the year passing with lightning speed and the last bash still a fresh memory when will the 2012 planing start. If it is ok with admin, can we start discussing and planing the bash for 2012. And just a thought, can a fresh water and salt water bash be done to cover a bigger crowd on the forum? Or even a bash for every section on the forum. I know allot of planning will go into such events and getting any sort of sponsor will be hard work. I now have some extra time on my hands and will help were i can. I would think that early planing will help clearing some problems. And venue should be far from any big town! Admin and members any thoughts on this?

Koper ons moet vis nie duik nie![]() Kopstamp, the reason why it should be far from any town is because the previous one was in pe and there was no socials. We need all to stay at the same place and have a party, it's the bash after all! Then we need some of the fresh water guys to pull in as well, make a fresh water bash, sealine is not just all about the saltwater r&s fishermen. It will be great if we can get some of the boating guys to join as well as the jet and paddle ski group. A all fishable spot, that is one of the reasons i segested the mthata river side, i dont know the northern cape coast but it is one of my dreams to go there. It is far travel for most doesnt mater were you host it, but this is once a year and great fun. Let the ideas flow. ![]()

Gouritz, Witsand, Breede River Suppose if we want the boating guys to join then we need to see where most of them are in SA as towing a boat 800km ain`t that much fun, correct me if I`m wrong but it`s just a thought, and it`s pretty central to all

Robyosh, Will keep it mind. Lets wait before any decisions are made. We need a big number of the forum to participate. We will then pull up a pole and the top three areas will go into consideration.

OK, this is just a thought, so dont crap on me yet. This location has it all. Fresh water - Impofu Dam within 20km - Churchhill Dam 65km Salt water - Oyster bay Boating/ski - St Francis harbor 25km I know it is in the Eastern Cape but it will suite all the needs and the best part everyone can stay at the same camp site in Oyster Bay. Find me another spot this versatile... ![]() Attachment: Bash oyster bay.jpg (Downloaded 406 times)

All in all it's good spots. But this year I personally feel and most dont care what I feel. That the "Sealine Birtday bash" with claim on the Sealine should be for all to attend and enjoy. The past years the bash consisted out of R&S and de hell with the rest? Not fair! All the members has put something back to this forum not just us R&S guys. I'm pretty sure that some of the fresh water guys would like to attend the bash? or have a freshwater bash just for them. What about the spearos, boating, paddle ski, jet ski, fly guys? Don't they also add to the Sealine family? We all have a love for fishing, just different type of fishing. I would like to get more feedback on an all versatile venue or ideas for all to join in, except for saying the fresh has to fish salt or visa versa. And no we can not take an inflatable pool with for the freshwater guys ![]() I would like to see who will be interested in participating in a all versatile bash. Please add name and type of fishing. mark norval - R&S

This was said by Enigma and OFC on last years vote tread. "I still maintain Mazeppa bay in September (Before the rains and Thunderstorms settle in), good Eds and Ineds fishing, I'll think of you guys while I'm there. September and even the beginning of October are not always, if ever a good fishing time in CT, maybe in PE." "did consider it Craig, but the PE and Cape guys deserve a bash somewhere there! been held the last two years in the Kei, and before that Mapalane! so its only fair that we have one down south? Next year this time we have a poll between Mazeppa & Hentiesbay? (thats gonna be a difficult one!)"
