Hi Guys,

Can anyone confirm if they have recently visited Meerhof(sometime this year) perhaps?

Has the security improved some what and is the place fishable over a 3 day period?

i have been reading a good few threads on this forum but this has back dated from 2009 and i just would like to get a better understanding from recent visotors as i'm planning to go camp there for 3 days and dont want a situation where i wake up in the morning and i see that the tsotsies have stolen the colour from my eyes..lol

Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Zito, i've never been to Harties for fishing. I cant help. I know of a sealine user that likes the venue, but he is currently off-line for a period. I will e-mail him and ask him.

I have been at meerhof too long ago too remember exactly how it looks like. I know from what I have read here on Sealine is that is only open on weekends because it used to be unsafe during the week...

Weekends = Safe

Weekdays = Unsafe

Hi Guys,
No, i havent manage to pass by Meerhof as yet as i'm still abit sceptical about the security.. I'd like to do a decent 4 or 4 day session but it seems that its too much much of a risk..I cant afford for my specimen gear to go missing

not a leka place to fish in the winter. we were there last year in the winter on 4 different occasions and got nothing. in the summer its a killer of a place to fish. if you going try perdeby or winter green aswell as almond and almond supreme. and dont be shy with the distance fish close in the morning

good luck
