Hi all.

I went to Strandfontein on Saturday and we got 5 Lines out to 250 - 300 meters. The wind was perfect and my self designed release clip works better than the goldfinger (R200).

We had 3 rods out for cob with small chokka baits and 2 rods with hole chokka. The water was very cold but great colour...and a bit flat. Not expecting anything, I got a huge pull, but the hooks pulled after about 30 seconds.

Once again 100% sold on the kite fishing idea!!!

We need a few fisherman here so we can start a kite fishing group (NOT CLUB!).

Anyone interested can also buy a kite kit from me (Fold away kites - 1 large and 1 Medium + 4 release clips)
