Hennie Moller's record SABAF and IGFA stands at 41.2kg, not sure which tackle class he claimed the 41.2kg on. He caught it on a small margin rod and not the all tackle class he set for the big ones. I had the pics on my other laptop that was unfortunately stolen last weekend in a Burglary. Have seen pics of 60kg+ fish caught in Hennie's areas but not registered or claimed. I'll get him to post a few pic's

Caught in the Oranje River, Rigged 4kg carp as hook bait. The angler is over 6ft 4 inch, so that gives you an idea of the size barbel!

Hennie just happened to pop round to the shop today as I have to do 2 of his rods for him. I am lucky to have built and or customised most of his rods for Catfishing, as long as 8 years ago. I asked him to either post a pic of the 195cm monster or to email it to me so I can post it.

Hi Ek plaas vir jul fotos van Babers vanaf 15 kg tot 42.1 kg en die was 1,92 meter lank gevang in die laer oranje Hier staan ons met die babers. Die 42.1 kg baber was gevang op 9kg breekrag en aas was ???????????? net ek weet Enigma maak of verbeter my stokke waarmee ek hulle vang en mag ek hierdie geleentheid gebruik en net se dat hy defnitief die beste stokke maak en ook aan te pas vir Groot Babers. Dankie vir die beste kwaliteit stokke. Jul kan gerus in kontak kom om dieselfde stokke te laat maak. Die aas was n karp van so 4kg se kop na onder skuins gesny en bietjie gekap met n klip om sodoende die reuk te versprei in die water en ek het die groot baber so 10 meter van die kant gevang waar hulle gewoontlik wei en jag maak om allerhande kleiner visspesies tussen ou bome en riete wat in die water staan. Groot babers vang jy in riviere teen die kant. Wees net baaaaie stil. Lekker aand aan almal Hennie Attachment: 001.jpg (Downloaded 600 times)

 Hallo ek het uiteindelik die beter fotos gekry van die babers wat ek met julle wil deel. Ek het darem nou n beter kamera gekry want voorheen het ek maar mik en druk gebruik om visse af te neem, maar dis tog so belangrik om goeie kamera te he om fotos te neem Ek het omtrent nooit my visse afgeneem nie want ek het nooit gedink dis belangrik nie maar soos ek Sealine gelees het het ek vinnig agtergekom hoe belangrik dit is en ook om rekords te registreer soek hulle goeie fotos Hierdie fotos hopelik ilustreer die grote van die babers beter die ouens wat saam met my was het ook met die babers geposeer.
