RASSPL NATIONALS
THE PAST, MEETS THE FUTURE

Winner of the category Juniors U14 was the young man from EP, Young Daniel Dickinson who ran up and down the beaches on all three days of the tournament making sure of his place as the up and coming youngster to keep your eyes on.
His enthusiasm and character show in every move he makes and this young man has started to pause, take a deap breath and read the water before wasting a good bait casting at nothing. He knows his target and he baits up for the specie he has identified making sure his score card gets the maximum points for the day every day.
Congratulations to Daniel for his achievement during the Nationals 2014 at Port Alfred. We see a future champion in Daniel and will keep our eyes on him during the years to come.
Runner up in the competition is just as enthusiastic and has a passion for taking care of every catch he has made. Awarded the “best handling” of a caught fish by an angler presented by Dr Paul Cowley was a fantastic achievement for this young man showing the rest of us who competed the way it should be done.
We congratulate both these young men for their characters and the manner in which they have come to appreciate the priority for taking care of what we have left in our seas.
