I saw a system where three clips with three baits were sent out at the same time. The clips stayed on the line when reeled in - they stayed at the rod tip and were pushed up the line with increasing sized swivels - there were different sized holes in each clip.

Do you send out more than one bait ?
Which clip do you use?
Do you use a pulley for live bait - which one ?

Can you put out more than one roller troller at the same time with eg live mullet on each one?
How far from the kite is the clip?

Stock, probably you can although I have not tried, maybe someone else has better info.

I did connect mine about 7 to 10 mtrs from the kite. We then set the tension and deployed a bonnie head for shark.

The troller is quite versatile, in that you can use it to skip a bait or a lure out, or just allow the kite to fly the bait to your desired drop zone.

Looking at the drawings on the AFTCO site, it seems that you can possibly connect more than one clip and deploy baits at intervals. It seems quite feasible.

More than one bait rig on a kite is for boat deployed baits or on flat water.

Deploying baits through the surf or of a spot like Mazeppa might be shakey.

I set my clip 100m from the kite so the kit is never influenced by the weight of the bait I am sending out.

I only use the AFTCO gold finger kite release clips and they come in a set to deply 2 baits.

Deploying 3 drop baits on a kite will require 3 rod handlers (1 kire and one each bait) and hope and pray the currents etc do not cross the line.

It's easy to control lines 30-50m from a boat. One kite 3 clips with bait 10m apart and rods static with no swell and side wash and let it out 30m

Sending baits out through swell and wash with lines washing over one another and one bait dropping on the other baits mainline will be a recipe for disaster at 500m

For ed it's totally different.

10 hooks on a 15m Paternoster and all dropped on a single drop

Do I need topshot for the kite?
