False bay and seal island produce no fish , can anybody explain

Hi Guys ,

We fished false bay on sat right up to seal island , not one fish came out and to my suprise , not one proper bite.

Both my Lowrance and Navman sounders screens were showing huge shoals of fish , there were about 10 boats around the island and no-one produced some fish.

I personally think , that after that large storm , maybe the water was just very dirty and had some effect on the fish.

Water temp on the south side of the island was 15.8 degrees.

Can anyone help explain this to us.

The guys got decent geelbeck at Seal Island on Saturday.
Good Tail and Beck at rocky bank.
500kg of tail on some of the commercials.

PLEASE IF YOU GUYS ANCHOR FOR BECK AT THE ISLAND AND AROUND OTHER BOATS DO IT AS QUIETLY AS POSSIBLE.

Guys who bomb the anchor overboard and then you hear chain ripping through the bollard:X:X:uzi:X. Geelbeck = shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh especially in the daylight hours.

Well thats just my luck , the day i get engaged the geelbek and yellowtail put in appearence !!!:shock: i SURE HOPE ITS NOT SIGNS OF THINGS TO COME ! Did you get any fish HT ?

I fished Town but yup we got some tail and snoek.
I know my good crew member Nepptune is going to post on Saturdays trip, so I'll leave it to the young guys who actually know how to work a computer he he

Thanks Decks and i will bet my beast master that the day i get married they will be catching 16 kg geelbek off kalk bay harbour wall !!!
