Hi all, i need to know honest opninions from anglers/boaters that have used the mercury 2 stroke 2+2 outboards, im looking to purchase 2 x 125hp 2006/7 models, but have no experience with them while fishing or trolling supposedly they have issues when trolling where they keep on switching between 2 and 4 cylinders? Is this the case and is it realy so bad for offshore fishing?

If it is the Optimax then it switches below certain revs, good motors and as light as a 4str when trolling, some early models (200hp) gave trouble. They will be too heavy for your Seacat.....for another boat I presume??
