Hi its been a while since I've posted anything up so heres a small report of the action I've had lately

The boys that really struck gold where the Brazilians Andre Marco and Marcelo, it was their first time Targeting GT's on Topwater but they where no steangers to big fish having done numerous trips to Panama for monster yellowfin Tuna. They had a fairly easy introduction to GT's when Marcello landed a smaller model on the first day. Day two saw some frustration with no fish landed and few favorite lures donated to Neptune. Day three saw a bit of extra crank on the drag stack of the Stella's and we managed to crack an incredible 2 hour session. Marcello stepped up to the plate first with a good fish and Andre followed soon after with a kegger of note. Marco wasn't left out of the action landing a beaut as well. but the crowning glory of the day was a monster double up by Andre and Marcos.

The two fish hit seconds apart in a vulgar display of power Andres hit was incredibly explosive far beyond what I normally see out here, his fish then proceeded to dump line off his Stella at an incredible rate taking over three quarters of his line in a single run, I had set his drag for him and believe me it wasn't set at school girl levels, I slowly pushed after his fish to gain back some line while draining line off Marcos reel who was also tangling with a brute. The boys dug deep, piled on the pressure and we landed two colossal fish Marcos with a black model of 55 kilo's and Andre phenomenal 63 kilo brute. Andre didn't feel up to holding the fish on his lap as he was worried about dropping it so we settled for a shot with them side by side and released them back into the water.

Howzit bud I was guiding for a company called Ocean Active at the time so pretty often! I see you stay in the emerates you should visit their tackle shop in Dubai its in the Dubai Garden Center on Sheik Zayed road take exit 42 after the mall and you'll be right there.

I've now joined a company called Game Fish Asia who operate out of Sri Lanka and the Andaman Islands so I'm excited to be heading there mid August for a new series of adventures!

shucks I missed you.
should have popped in at the flat!
saw your mom on the beach and asked her if Rory was there.
but as my trip was over, and fishing till 20:00 that night, I still had to pack my stuff for departure.

all the best with the new venture.
keep us updated.
Regards
Pottie

Howzit pottie I've been hanging around St. Lucia for almost a month drinking beer with the old man and squeezing in a few fishing sessions but the winds been howling the whole time I've been down here so my feet have yet to leave the beach for some offshore action.

I've been threatening to take up kite surfing for ages now then I know the wind will never make an appearance when I'm at the beach!
