Hello Oom Thika,
we have been missing you recently!

I have one - 6 years old now - all servicing done at home. Ours is used on the plots for driving my old man around (he is semi-disabled), towing the garden trailer (abut 1.2t when loaded with logs and manure) and all sorts of general work. It is used every day.

I also have a Yamaha Big Bear 400. The Yammie is basic (manual) and stronger - much better off road, but very agricultural.
The Suzuki is very powerful, very easy to ride, automatic, light steering and the motor has been great.
The only downsides so far have been brake cable stretching and the plug fouling regularly. Also the plug position right at the front, means the bike does not like wading. And if you drive like it you stole it, the tyres don't last long.

When it breaks, we would replace it with another one.

Thanks Tim
I'm here, I'm here!

Have read only good things, so it is nice to get same so objectively from you

Next thing is transporting it to the sticks, trailer, storage.....Thika bangs head!

But I have convinced myself I cannot live another day without one :)

They come in camo now, so good for the sand backdrop (haters with binocs)

Any one else please?

P.S.

Tim,

Was yours imported with power steering?

Also, does the diff lock work in high range?

Thanks

Hi,
No - it doesn't have power steering. It is light as it is normally in 2WD. The Yammie on the other hand is permanent 4WD and feels like turning a seized water valve. Diff lock works in both high and low although there is a governor that limits speed to the same in either range.
