 Howzit Gents, I have been collecting penn reels now for just over year and a half. Got my hands on a penn level matic 920, and old 9/0 senator.
I thought I new the range of penn reels made over the year but no, there is always going to be a suprize. Anybody know the penn levelmatic? Seems there where 4 models made, 910, 920, 930 and 940.
The first time I have seen one.

 penn 940,
had my for 27 years, worked hard for the first 11 years, since then it has tapered down to a few outtings a year. these days i used for spoonplugging mostly (trolling for bass). its been opened for service 25 times since new and still operates like when it was new.

 Notes the two prices. One must have been from a tackleshop in umtata.
The price have the name SPARGS umtata on it, and the date 10 03 83.
So cool.
