Richards bay fishing

I will be up in Richards bay the first week of November (for work :() for a week.  is it worth dragging fishing gear or for that case diving (scuba) gear with.  are there any dive operators in that area.  how is the fishing in that area.  it should be good anyone want to show a Kaapie the ropes

some big salmon have been coming out off the side....a 48kg one came out the other day....fishing hasnt been bad lately...

i dont do a lot of surf fishing so i cant tell you much but offshore the dorados are starting to show up...

but i would bring the light tackle...its always fun to catch a couple of smaller fish to keep you occupied...especially if your here with work

Fishing in Rb is good. Get hold of KK. He knows the spots.
The only problem with Rb is that you need a 4x4 to get to the best spots. I will be down on the 8th and 9th if youre still around, you are welcome to join us.

but if you have the opportunity there are places like long beach nearby and cassuarinas and lots of other spots that people like KK can point you to

carch there have been some big dorado coming out this side...my neighbour pulled out a 17kg on light tackle and lost what was supposed to be a 20+kg one at the boat...

weekend 8-9 november

Will organise a big fish on satuerday night, long beach side, do a all nighter, will be much warmer than the times we went in winter and see if the summer fish have arrived,
