Hi All!

Does anyone here have one a Okuma Precision rod? The 14' version specifically? I have an itch that needs to be scratched! Previous posts from senior members highlighted that the Okuma rods have been designed by South African anglers, for South African anglers. Are great bang for buck and serious quality. The prices one these rods look really good.

So if anyone has one or has fished with one, please let me know what you think of it. The Bluefish special looks like a great rod, but slighlty out of my price range for the fuji finish rod I want an scratching rod that can handle a slightly bigger lead than the normal 4oz leads.

I have 1.
I also wanted something less pricy to scratch for blue fish.

I quite like the rod, feels very light.

But, After the second outing, one of the ferules pulled out of the road when I tried to disassemble it.

Tackle shop send it back to the manufacturer.
Im hoping they fix it, because like I said, I quite like the rod.

Hi Guys
Which size Daiwa BG would you recommend pairing with the 14ft version? The 6500 seems too big so would the 4500 or 5000 be better?

i also have the precision 14ft

i love it, good light tackle set up rod

mines is paired with the rovex big boss 3 6000 and loving the lightness, can fish whole day with it in hands

the winn grip aswell is a nice feature

i chose the precision over the equinox just based on what your getting for the price tag

Hi Priv, how do you find the action seeing that it is a 36T blank, soft, medium, hard. Untill where does the blank bend, I am also in need of a rod for edibles.
