Holding a 5kg fish for a camera is tough work for bassers, but if we were to hold some young dolly bird up like that for the camera we would be 100%.  It's all psychological.

Thanks Monster, it was my early Xmas present from the fishing Gods at Inanda Dam this last December.

The 5.1kg bass that is, ... not Bimini Twist Sam LOL

Hi daar dit is 'n groot bass daai. Ek het gehoor van 'n groot bass wat weer in Goedertrouw gevang is van omtrent 6.2kg. Weet nie of dit waar is nie, het iemand dalk fotos, of dalk iets van so bass gehoor.

Daar is onlangs ook weer 'n 5.5kg bass in Witbank dam gevang.

I don't know. Been reading this topic with all the posts and amazingly all the 6kg+ bass looks smaller than the 5kg bass. i don't know, some oaks?
