Well after my fair share of experimenting i will start with my selection:

Strike-Pro Goby Popper
Salmo Hornet 6 (Must have the old type lip)

Something you guys might consider when fishing tree with birds in is to use a Zoom Horny Toad with a big No 5 Gamagatsu hook, you can make it weedless by sticking the tip of the hook just under the skin of the toad. This bait got a mean splash to it and works like a charm!

my latest Choice lure is a chunk of silicone attache to a big hook - much like the Horney toad it is killer...

My little dirty trick with craks and hard lures is I remove the normal hooks and replace them with weed guarded hooks
