hi guys

we went down to Bakoven at 10am this morning.Started with a couple of Galjoen's klipvis , then the BIG BOYS arrived.Hooked got a 33cm (which went back) and a nice 37cm (which went home to the braai) ,Expat got a 31cm (which went back) and then landed a major 46cm Gallie , what a BEAUT!!!!He also lost one that was a bit bigger.I got one of 34cm (which went back).I had one (HUGE) that straightened my mustard circle hook No1. and then managed to fall off at my feet.I then lost another that just went off like a steamer and snapped my line! Hooked will post the pics later.WHAT A MORNING.been waiting a while now , FINALLY THE BIG BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN!!!!!

Thats good guys news we had a dissapointing day at betty's water was flat with a strong SW pumping.... :wfish:wfish:fishn::jdfis::hapmad::hapmad

pics will be up in an hour.we will be there again tomorrow from 10am.WHAT A DAY.think they gonna be around tomorrow again.i estrimate that the big one that straightened my hook was well over the 50cm mark and i want him!!!!!

way to go SIR REEFMAN.this is  more than a sport for some of us.we spend thousands of rands developing our skills and honing in on the big one.Whether it takes five or ten years to catch , we LOVE it.thank you so much!!this website is a sacred source of pleasure to some us where we can share our experiences and knowledge with all.hopefully others will end up enjoying it as much as we do!!!

the second fish is the biggest damn sucker fish i have ever seen in my life.those bunny teeth were massive.A WORLD RECORD i am sure!!!!
