Hi Saltist

If i count correctly, there are already 4 of us who are keen on going.
Fisher Bobby, Khani, Trev and myself Veez. Why don't you make a provisional booking if the other guys are still interested.

Hey Guys,

I picked this surfing report for KZN, this weekend is not a good weekend for deep sea fishing, but if you guys keen then I am no KILLJOY.

Report:

The East swell is huge and all over the place like a rash all over! Firing 8-12' surf running in ways you never get to see, and big wave spots will be warping and closing out like prickly pears on malpitte, all ripening now and sticky and sweet and haluconegically disappointing as a nasty beasterly easterly cranks it up today, worst in the deep south, milder 10-15kts towards Durbs. By Saturday, tomorrow, the onshore is receding and a coastal low is forming. Cranking huge East swell is right in the zone, peaking and going ballistic. It's pandemomium. Glassy leftover lumpy seas and CRANKING East swell going off it's malpit showing deep energy and longlulled Indo style at lefthand refractionable breaks that will be breaking best, barring those righthand points that like some Yeast in their cooking. Sunday morning is glassy, and it's seriously cranking, but the coastal low turns into a vicious SW buster later in the day, screaming up to 40 kts in the night. Batten down the banana trees boys. malpit mayhem!

Hi guys...the weather is going to be rough for the next few days...but i will contact all the interested parties as soon as the weather man gives me the go-ahead! you guys are more than welcome to make a provisional booking for next weekend..hopefully the swells will have subsided!

Fisher bobby...i'll be honest i have caught quite a few smaller fish on "Dropshot" its awesome Sporting fun/...the lighter the tackle the better! i have caught kingie, grunter, sand gurnard, blacktail and a few species like those! I'm feeling a little vulnerable my Saltist 50h was lost out at sea while trawling, it popped off the back while trawling! what a pity! cheeky fish!
